Roberto Mosconi, our Starr chef, has his family roots in the Hudson Valley. He is a graduate of the French Culinary Institute and takes pride in having learned his art in some of the most prestigious restaurants in Manhattan- Sign of the Dove, Mad 61, Coco Pazzo-to name a few and the old fashioned way- in family owned restaurants. He is a master of several styles of cooking all emphasizing fresh ingredients and taking advantage of the bounty of the Hudson Valley. His extraordinary mussel pots can’t be beat anywhere in the known universe. His fresh daily made pasta is simply mouth watering and must be experience to know what great pasta is all about. The American-Medditterian style menu changes daily and the reasonably priced offerings range from the traditional to creations identified with the Hudson Valley. Whether it’s a table for two, or the hosting of a large-scale celebration, Starr Place, an American-Medditterain Brasserie can accommodate all the needs of patrons and guests, including on & off-site catering. We are happy to provide a choice of gluten-free items upon request and the children can get their own menu too! Remember we have three bars and parking in the rear.
